Ian Mifin will lead the Scotland and UK's first workshop on RaceRunning at IFAC
The workshop, entitled “coaching athletes with a disability: successful interventions,” will have a strong practical focus. The aim of the session is to give coaches, who work with a variety of different disabilities, practical coaching solutions and ideas.
The session will be lead by Ian Mirfin, Scotland’s top wheelchair racing and race running coach. This is the first ever workshop on race running and will provide an introduction to the event as well as the progression of this event in Scotland from grassroots to performance levels. The session will be practical centred and will include two of Scotland’s top race running athletes.
This disability workshop will run at Scotstoun Stadium on Friday 28 October 2011 at 1830-2030 at the cost of £20. Interested coaches can sign up by
