MIKE MCFARLANE (UK)
Mike McFarlane is lead coach to Jodie Williams, since her sprint double at the 2009 IAAF World Youth Championships she has claimed 100m gold at the World Junior Championships and in July this year claimed the sprint double at the European Junior Championships.
A former UKA sprints performance coach, McFarlane has formerly coached Dwain Chambers and Julian Golding. As an athlete himself, Mike won Commonwealth gold in the 200m in 1982, famously tied with Allan Wells, before going onto become European Indoor Champion over 60m in 1985 and to take 4x100m silver at the 1988 Seoul Olympics.
