TERSEUS LIEBENBERG (SOUTH AFRICA)
COACH OF CHAMPIONS
Terseus Liebenberg is a coach of champions. As a javelin coach he has delivered Marius Corbett from world junior champion onto Gold at World Championships and Commonwealth Games. He is also coach to Sunette Viljoen, who under Terseus’ guidance has progressed from Champion at World Student Games to Commonwealth Games, and is now the Bronze medallist at the World Championships in Daegu 2011.
Based at the University of Potchefstroom, Liebenberg has been a critical character in the South African throws scene and is widely considered by many supporters of the sport to be the most successful South African coach.
